Background:
With the emergence of pokemon on Earth, the human race was faced with a colossal existinction level dilemma; Evolve or die out. Those humans that evolved either gained a resistance to pokemon, became pokemon, or turned into something else. The Mer-People or Merples were just that, something else. BalloonTits, Queen of the Merple, runs the Mariana Gym out of a human-friendly facility just outside Merple City located just within the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean. Trainers curious enough to dive to her depths are faced with the awesome power of her water pokemon.
