Gym Leader: Izuru Kamukara - "The Ultimate Scholar"
Background:
A scholar by trade, Izuru excels at the mechanics and dynamics of psychic pokemon. Growing up, he was always drawn to them for their secluded and regal nature. Izuru is currently an orphan, having lost his parents in The Great Eastern Annex, the military occupation by the American Federal Republic of all Japanese Provinces and neighboring islands. To keep his thoughts elsewhere, Izuru runs the Despair Gym out of a remote monastery in the Hida Mountains. Trainers who are able to find their way to his doorstep learn the importance of meditation and mourning.
