Gym Leader: Davfernape - "The Fiery Hermit"
Background:
After the death of his beloved Infernape, Davfernape grew distant from society and retired to a remote
hut in the Likouala swamps to grieve. There, he was
able to forge a strong bond with the native bug pokemon. His skill with bug pokemon became so renowned that trainers from far and wide would wade into the dangerous swamps surronding his hut for the chance to battle him. To this day, Davfernape runs the Scarab Gym out of his hut alongside his new bug friends, knowing that his beloved Infernape's spirit was watching over him from the beyond.
